Cowart's Common Room

Hello Owls, from a very wet and extremely windy Norfolk.!

Here is a question: how long can you go without a cup of tea?!Smile

Moi, not long I'm afraid, love it, it's the first thing I reach for when I wake up in the morning.

Just going to take a tour and post some cards, see you later on the perch owls.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Frances's Avatar Camilla, I do like that question about the need for tea.

For me, it much depends on the season and whether I am at home or at work.

During hot or warmer weather, I can go a very long time without a cuppa. In cooler weather, and if I have a few quieter days at home, I love to make a pot of tea, and fill my cup every so often.

I once used to have tea at breakfast time, but for years have converted to coffee, Italian roast. Somehow this rich blend of coffee seems to give me that good morning jolt that gets me all awakened. I can go without another cup all through the day, perhaps just having cups of cold water to keep the hydration level up.

Camilla's Avatar Hello Frances,

Just popped back on the perch while I post the cards up.

I love the rich roast coffee too Frances, but only have it mid-morning, then later on after evening meal, and sometimes late at night, although my preference is tea. My very dear friend only drinks coffee and loathes tea, but always keeps for friends who are visiting.

Love what you have wrote about that good morning jolt Frances.!

Frances's Avatar Thanks, Camilla.

Right now, I have quite a variety of tea in the house, both in tea bags and in the loose leaf form. English breakfast, Ceylon breakfast, Earl Grey, Darjeeling, green tea, Jasmine tea, Lady Grey tea, and Yorkshire tea.

Camilla's Avatar Phew.! was having problems uploading pics, pleased to say I managed it.

Lots of tea's to choose from there Frances, love the Earl Grey and Yorkshire tea, with the latter I love it dark and strong.

I watched Who Do You Think You Are - a BBC1 geneology programme of certain actors which is on each week over here.
This one was of that gorgeous actor Hugh Quarshie. Are you able to get this programme too Frances?

Camilla's Avatar Very quiet on the perch lately, so hope owls are alright, have not seen Bear round for a while too, think Puffin is on vacation at the moment.
