Cowart's Common Room
Dundee Flower and Food Festival

Husband and I had a lovely day at the Dundee Festival. The weather was superb and the festival itself just lovely.

What a size the exhibition vegetable and flowers are! Does anyone eat the produce?? Still it is good that there are so many people interested in producing such large vegetables.

Husband was very interested in the home made wine section as this is one of his own hobbies.

Sad to say that, contrary to previous years, I didn't buy any plants or bulbs as we have our house up for sale. Instead I spent my money on a Steamer to enable me to clean floors and carpets without using detergents. My only other purchase was clippers for my daughters dogRolling EyesRolling EyesRolling Eyes.

Oh dear, I can only hope that by next year my purchases at the festival will be all for a new garden in a new home.WinkWinkWink

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Pleased to hear you both had an enjoyable day at the Festival Silverhead and the weather was kind to you.

Good luck with the move Silverhead, will you be moving far from where you live at present? My son has just moved recently, packing boxes everywhere.!

I am sure you will enjoy choosing lots of lovely new plants when you return again to the festival next year Silverhead for your new home, maybe a rose too to plant with bless this new house.

xx

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Do you know where you are hoping to move to Silverhead. seems odd reading about Dundee knowing that Wildchild isn't there anymore.
