Re:
Fennie's Avatar I spoon hot oil over the egg yolk to give the yolk a glazed appearance which means also that the bottom of the egg can be cooked at a lower temperature and so you don't get the burnt and bubbled bits that are apparent in this photograph. Anyone else do this?

Westerwitch's Avatar I spoon hot oil as well . . . yup sunny side up for me plus bacon and a yummy croissant - this is our breakfast/brunch on a Sunday.

Re:
Faith's Avatar We had this awful woman to stay once - the girlfriend of one of Bill's friends, and when Bill, at the aga, said how do you like your eggs, she said - oh what a witSad

'Unfertilised!'

I personally like mine fried hard - I hate runny eggs! And I also like the burned and bubbly bits, Rosie!

Omelette would be grand, thank you, with a bit of ham and fried onion.

Re:
Camilla's Avatar Like mine as Westerwitch's too, but without the bacon, trying to give up meat.
