Cowart's Common Room

Her Ladyship, Miss Sadie, and I were out for our morning walk. The night's rain had turned to a fine drizzle.

I'm checking this, but apparently we've set a new record for rainfall in this part of the colony. Shocked

Miss Sadie, having webbed feet, and being a water dog, generally loves this. Bear, on the other hand, is now developing webbed feet. I have also developed this quack need to quack put the work "quack" in my writing. It's quacking me up.

So, does anyone have a cure for quack webbed feet? A week in the Sahara, perhaps? Sheesh!

Lampworkbeader's Avatar Raining in the South of England too, a great relief, my vegetables are thriving again after almost two weeks of drought, so sadly are the slugs, but I guess you can't have it all.

Arosebyanyothername's Avatar We keep being promised rain - here in the Auvergne - but it never materialises. Jim is having to do extensive watering by hand.
