Cowart's Common Room
Coffeeeeeeeeeeee

Eeeeek - so sorry I have not been around much - we are busy preparing for the Forth Valley Open Studios . . . Peek Here usual last minute panic . . .

Here is this morning's coffee . . . something Wildchild gave me when we moved her to her temporary abode on Wednesday - she will be there for a month before she heads of to Australia . . . gulp . . . no idea what the coffee is, but it tastes great. Biscuits are . . . er . . . in Bear's tins . . . and some croissants I found in the freezer.

So where do you go to do your thinking . . . I take my dogs out up our local track and spend time amongst my beloved wild grasses and with the company of insects - I have worked on and worked out many problems there with lots of arm waving and talking to myself . . . Shocked I don't think anyone has seen me . . . I would have been locked up by now if they had Very Happy

So go on where do you go to do your thinking . . .

Re:
Fairy Nuff's Avatar Think,think...there's no time to think.
Quick coffee and on with the books...BleaghSad

I do like a good beach to wander along though...preferably empty, which thankfully isn't that hard to find up here.
A good warm anorak, scarf, gloves and boots and off you go
Very Happy

Re:
Puffin's Avatar I am late--and not been here much of late.
Coffee,strong sounds great--croissants too.I'll have two.

I used to like to walk the Wet lands trail at the zoo,but first
choice would be a early morning beach walk.
The first always reminds me of 'the Farm' and home.
Everyone have a great day.
Cooler again here.

Re:
Preseli Mags's Avatar Any coffee left? And a croissant to dip? Yum. I've just been to Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi so I need reviving!

I do all my thinking when I'm running. I find those times absolutely vital to lining up all the thoughts in my head and clearing the fog. It helps with writing too and creativity. I'd love some kind of thing that would transfer my thoughts directly to my computer without me having to type!

If I need to think because I'm upset I take the dog up to our highest fields and look at the Preselis (the view at the top of my blog). There's a lot of space up there and a 360 degree panorama and it's always very peaceful.

Re:
Of course you're welcome to take my biscuits, Headmistress. My virtual tins of biscuits or is it my tins of virtual biscuits whatever . . . anyhow, they never run out (I have discovered), so I needn't have purloined some of Rosie's Welsh Cakes a while back.

Thinking you'll think I'm bonkers (oh, you already know that Rolling Eyes) but I do some of my best thinking when I'm washing dishes. It's such a mindless activity for a Bear, that I have plenty of opportunity to solve problems. Everything else, including walking Her Ladyship, takes a fair bit of concentration (at least at this point). I do some of my best writing (inside my head) when I'm doing dishes. Then I get it into the computer while the dishes dry themselves.

Coffee is too strong first thing in the morning one of those telemarketer types woke me from my sleep almost at the crack of dawn and croissants are things I enjoy but now try to avoid. Think I'll make oatmeal porridge and have a cup of Scottish Breakfast Tea.

Hope that Arnie is doing well, and that the show goes excitingly for you. A picture or two, perhaps, for Buckingham Palace would be nice. Very Happy

Re:
Faith's Avatar I don't think I go anywhere special to think. I think, plot and plan all the time while I'm gardening, cleaning, driving etc If I feel very stressed I sit on the island and think how lucky I am to live here.

Re:
Lampworkbeader's Avatar Hi WW, I looked in the Open studios brochure but still couldn't work out the opening hours. Are you open every day during that period or just at weekends?
Love Lampie

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Sorry Bear the best we can manage is pictures of Glasgow - we'd have to go to London to photograph the Palace . . .

Re:
Mollygolver's Avatar I had a 'peek' WW - I love that pic of the tree and the distant hills and the water - wild and beautiful. In places like that what a wonderful setting to gather all your thoughts around you.
