Cowart's Common Room

Apparently not. It's an hour past Owling time, and no Chief Owl, or Deputy Owl, for that matter. The only item of note is that Bear has finished supper.

Bother Exclamation No Owls in sight Exclamation

It may not be Chief Owl's problem. Server connections may be iffy. At one point today, I couldn't get to the Purple Coo server problems. On the east side of the pond. Sigh. And this internet technology is supposed to be so good.

I'll wait around a bit and see what happens.

If you're awake at this hour, and want to natter, this is the place to be.

Even if the moderating Owl is actually a Bear. (I didn't say things had to make sense.) Rolling Eyes

I don't claim to have the art sense of Camilla. This is a piece by Norman Smith, at the Red Rag Gallery.

And a little something musical. From my favourite group.

You need flash to view this video

(I think you need Flash Player for this.)

A quick check at the Skool show everything is, "All Lights Burning Bright." Max has put out the clock, and Tiddles has been wound and fed.

Marvellous helper, that Max. Deputy Minder hardly does justice to his effectiveness.

Tiggy has an interesting bit over at the Ecology Forum. It's about cotton. Bear read it and said, "Hmmmm. . . ."

Frances's Avatar Oh Bear, I don't know where Camilla might be, and will even forgive you the dreaded ABBA.

I am late arriving for a mix of reasons, some computer, some not. Might send you a pm, if my server connection holds.

Thank you so very much for keeping the over night going. xo

Time for Bear to trundle off to "parts unknown" for another night/morning (whatever).

I'll be back later with my "Good Morning!" bit.

In the meantime, sleep well, good Owls.

I didn't see you there, Frances.

How was you day?

The DREADED ABBA Question Question

Oh, of course. You don't like the fish company whose name the group borrowed. (Bear is slow at this time of day.)

Posted by: Rob-bear on 26th May 2010 at 02:44AM

"Grr@%#&$%*&@rr," said the Bear. What happened to Frances? Here one minute, gone the next.

I think it has to do with rain, and electricity, and lines that carry electricity. (Bear's knowledge of physics is pretty limited.)

Frances's Avatar Oh Bear, forebear. I cannot stand that ABBA music.

Please do take a look in the woods for a pm I have sent you. It is very confidential.

I don't think that you are slow at any time of the day. Tonight my computer, however, is very slow, getting slower.

I'll forbear your lack of cultural refinement in this matter. Got your PM and have replied. On second thought, what PM?

Hope your computer survives. Hot, humid weather is not kind to computers. Hence the need for air conditioned buildings. That much Bear does understand.

Her Ladyship, Miss Sadie, calls. One gets into trouble when one keeps a Lady waiting. Even if one is a Bear.

Night, allExclamation

Frances's Avatar Thanks again, Bear.

I am now gonna try to head off to that land of nod to get some rest before the important day that awaits me tomorrow.

Best wishes to you, Sadie and all around the Bear's home. I do appreciate your wisdom.

Nite, nite.

Camilla's Avatar THANK YOU sooo much Bear for posting the Owl Post for us, you are a very kind Bear indeed.

Computer was indeed iffy, and I was an Owl with sore head, so flew off to bed early.

By the way, Bears are extremely artful and you have posted a lovely colourful pic, thank you. I had the Red Rag Gallery saved on my files too.
