Cowart's Common Room
Before and After.

Rescued this PVC table and chairs from behind the Pavillion. Yuk! Have it for Parties for extra people, but it hasn't been used for the past few years. Set to, with Brillo wire pads and elbow grease, et Viola, it has come up like new. Forget PVC Cleaners. I'm chuffed. Off to finish Muffin's pergola, with voile drapes, so we can sleep under the stars. Always wanted to do that. Never to late at 64.Laughing

Wow Exclamation dQuite phenomenal.

Say, I've got a few odd jobs like that which need doing. Do you hire yourself out?

Preseli Mags's Avatar Gosh it looks new! Of course 64 is not too late - they say 70 is the new 50, so 64 must be the new 44. Laughing

Withy Brook's Avatar I was at an Old School day on Saturday. There were 4 of us, either 80 or about to be. Not one of us looked anything like it - ie we looked 70 Laughing

Tiggywinkle's Avatar I'm a great scrubber, Bear. Love to tackle a job like this. Mind you I have finished the table and one chair, so I hope the enthusiasm doesn't wear off. Will get Muffin scrubbing with me tomorrow, in between playing in her new house.

I bet that was a fun day, Withy. I can just see the four of you gabbing away about old times.

Pondside's Avatar I love a good challenge like that, Tiggy. Every year I go at our PVC chairs to undo the work of a winter of rain and mildew. Well done!

Camilla's Avatar Thanks for that tip Tiggy, I have two in the outbuilding which look horrid, they are only there in case not enough seating, will give them a scrub with the brillo-wire.

Irish Eyes's Avatar Fair play to you Tiggy, have to get going on mine, but will cheat with Cilit Bang as the arthritis is acting up and the hands haven't the strength to really scrub. Be sure to have at least 6 duvets over you if sleeping out, it's like the antartic up here on the hill at night once the sun goes down. Talk to you soon.
