Cowart's Common Room
Coffee time!

Uploaded Image

Good morning from the sunny Preseli Hills. The coffee today is Cloud Forest coffee beans from Nicaragua. The Welsh cakes have all been eaten, but there is a brad new packet of Hob Nobs. Do you dunk? I always dunk a Hob Nob.

We have a very tired PM here today. An alarm beeped loudly at 2am. Not one of our alarms and since we're in the middle of nowhere here, all the more alarming. I finally got back to sleep just before 5am. I can confirm that the dawn chorus starts at 3.50 am and peaks in volume at about 4.30am. *Yawn*

The picture is of my daughters doing a shadow play in the garden after our barbecue yesterday evening. H8 has the fox on the left which is chasing R6's two rabbits.

Have a good day everyone and let us know what you'll be doing. I'm off out to the garden now, but I'll be back in later to watch Chelsea Flower Show on the telly and wish I could be there! xx

Re:
Westerwitch's Avatar Oooooo how annoying did you ever find out whose alarm it was? Yes I agree 3.50 start for the dawn chorus - which usually starts at 3.30 at the height of the summer and yes yawn . . . every year I wake up when the light comes through the blinds and only doze from then on until it is time to get up . . . I spend all summer tired . . . but I do enjoy the light nights - will soon not really get dark . . .

Jaynebeth's Avatar Oooo coffee at last - yum. Yes I dunk - but only into coffee never tea.

It's almost blissful to be working and out of the heat today. (trying to convince myself)

Re:
I thought Hob Nobs is what a one did with the aristocracy.

But what does a colonial Bear really now? (And besides, I haven't had breakfast yet so it's way too early in the day to be HobNobbing with anyone.)
