Cowart's Common Room

Good Evening Owls,

Hope you had a wonderful weekend, the warm weather here has been lovely even so I was thankful for a little cool breeze very late evening.

Family have all gone home and must say that it felt pretty lonely afterwards, even though it was rather a hectic but fab weekend.

Tomorrow....... tackle the huge laundry basket.!

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

Camilla's Avatar Hello Withy,

Hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather, we are not used to having it soo hot.!

Can hardly keep my eyes open so off to bed shortly, no reading tonight from that large pile of books near bedside table.

Frances's Avatar Oh, Camilla, you have left a marvelous video of my fave Kinks! Thank you. How splendid to think of sharing the owl perch with Ray Davies and the gang.

I know that you must be truly knackered after hosting that wonderful garden party. What a fine time everyone must have had.

Please do sleep well, and please space out that laundry over however many days might make it easier for you.

See you tomorrow! Hoping that some other owls might yet land. Pasta (tortelloni) is in front of me. I will now tour a bit of coo and blog lands.

Dozy Bear rolled out of bed and came to skool in a (more or less) timely manner, only to discover Chief Owl had nodded off. For once, I waited too long to show up on the Owl post. That's a first! Sad Sad

Good evening Frances. How was your day?

Rainy and cold (10C = 50F at about 1:00 a.m., getting colder through the day). Miss Sadie and I got out for one walk between rain drops; we're going to try again now. Haven't felt at all well today, so I haven't eaten much; will have a bite of supper when I get back from walking. Then I'll check on Max et al.

See you in a bit.

Well, it was to cold to walk very far. The wind had come up quite a bit, and I wasn't ready for the 8 temperature outside (even wearing one of my heavy vests). Came home, looked in the fridge; nothing was appealing. So I'll have to think more about what I want to eat.

Checked on Max who has put the clock out. I attended to Tiddles, so everything is well in that department.

Not sure when I'll be back this evening/morning. Tomorrow is the Victoria Day holiday (and I think a bank holiday in Britain, but I'm not sure).

See you anon, Frances. Frances?

Frances's Avatar Tomorrow, for sure, Bear.

Hoping that rest will restore you.

Enjoy that holiday, whether it be national or bank ... is there a difference in 2010?

I know that we will not have any holiday tomorrow here in the States.

Looking forward to seeing you all again here tomorrow evening. xo
