Cowart's Common Room

I remember jotting down these little thoughts in my journal while snowbirding in South Carolina many years ago, from a little Book called "Live and learn and pass it on"
"I've learned that people who have mastered the art of living seem to be guided by an internal compass. They might not always stay on track, but they have a way of always returning to the proper course"-- Age 63

Frances's Avatar Tiggy, at age 64, I find this inner compass concept pretty good. I also confess that I might have found a version of that inner compass before I turned 20.

Tiggywinkle's Avatar I agree, Frances. I too feel that I had it early, but my job, and the Social Corporate World pulled me away from it for several years. It was a very superficial world. I enjoyed the glamour and entertainment at that stage in my life, but I am far happier now living my simple life with real friends, doing what I like to do, as long as I can get to travel somewhere nice each year.Laughing
