Cowart's Common Room

What does Lixtroll do with her wonderful poetry and drawings? Are they going to be published? For any of you that hasn't seen it here is today's wonderful offering.

All of a dank pugnacious dawn

I was merrily picking sedge

The capercaillie was on the lawn

Having sneaked in through the hedge

The kettle boiled, the fern uncoiled

Astrological zeppelins tipped

Over the cusp and far away

Where the storm from the teacup sipped

Preseli Mags's Avatar Great idea to put that into the common room - it's a shame they're hidden away on the I have blogged page. They are fabulous.

Westerwitch's Avatar . . . sigh . . . Lixtroll is my neighbour and completely bonkers . . . she will be selling her art at our Open Studios in June and then in September. I agree she should publish her poems and their pictures - but it would have to be Blurb, or something similar and the books are not that cheap.

I guess we could have a reminder everyday to go and look at Lixtroll's poms and pics.

Cannot say I am a fan of surrealism. Problem is that surrealism is soooo complicated for an old Bear with an addled brain.

Take, for example, the repeated use of "
". Please, take it; I've no way of understanding it at all! Just toooooooooo surreal.

Sigh. Sad Suddenly I feel 20 years older.)
