Cowart's Common Room
THE TIME HAS COME . . .

the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes and ships and sealing-wax
Of cabbages and kings
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether Owls have wings."

Well, of course Owls have wings. It's just that none of them has alighted on the Owl perch thusfar.

If nobody's up there, I'm not going to climb all the way up, because Bears don't have wings. (Nor to pigs, but that's another story.) Besides, Bear is both weary and rotund.

I'm going to check what's happening at skool.

Re:
Nothing happening at skool.

At least Max, Tiddles, and the clock are in good order. (I spend some time checking Tiddles; she seems a little frayed.) Will check more thoroughly tomorrow. Max isn't concerned, but the intuitive Bear is. Hmmmm. . . .

I'll trundle around the place for a while, but not long. Her Ladyship, Miss Sadie, has her doggie manners class tonight; wouldn't want to miss that (even if Her Ladyship would be perfectly happy to skip the experience). She claims the instruction is really for me, not for her. She may be right.

Re:
Strange night, this one. Bear all by himself. Shocked

Am I in the right place, or have I errantly wandered into an alternate universe? Confused

OH! Chief Owl Camilla has appeared elsewhere.

Bear is heading to the "I Can't Sleep Chat Post."

Please join me. Very Happy

RE
Camilla's Avatar Humble apologies to the Bear....... fell asleep on the sofa, seems to be a habit of mine lately, think I need to time my clock so as to wake up in time. Days are sometimes full work load, and then there is HL who rely's on a servantRolling Eyes

Who is the poet to that little ditty Bear.Smile

Off to hop on perch, see you there Bear. Thank you kindly fo tending to Max, Tiddles and the Clock.

Re:
Ivy's Avatar "But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.
