Picture of the Day....

Midnight sky over our wee home, now are those dots the night stars ....... or millions of very small gifts drifting in from Iceland ?

Perhaps it's Mr. Brown's response to the election results. My understanding is that he can be a somewhat feisty character.

Camilla's Avatar Wow.! yes great photo over the midnight sky, thanks for sharing HS.

Did you see the Science Programme on telly that's on every week, one of them was to do with the stars, fascinating stuff.

Frances's Avatar I would never venture to take a photo of a New York night sky. The city light, my lack of camera skill, etc., etc., just stand in the way of ever capturing that wonder that I feel when I am out after sunset, and there is not too much pollution or cloudiness to block the stars in the sky.

I just crain my jaw upwards, and look, and look, and just get a marvelous insight into what we mortals are in the universe. I bet that these views in Scotland must be staggering.
