Woozle's decision is acted on already!

Well, can hardly catch my breath and that's not through having duff lungs either! As per my posting in the health forum, am having surgery............... on the 4th December! A week on Friday. A week tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They said that I might even be out 12 December if it all goes to plan and I don't drink too much gin before then. It's all a bit surreal at the moment but I'm glad they're not hanging around. xx

Salle de Bain's Avatar Good on ya Wooz....but gin rationing eh?

Now put that hip flask away, you know it won't fit into your hospital washbag LaughingRolling Eyes

Seriously though...that's fab...the sooner the better, then you can have a quiet cosy christmas at home. Just what the doctor ordered. S x

Frances's Avatar Woozle, I also want to commend you on making your decision. May I also add additional good wishes to you for this procedure.

Grand that you will be home by Christmas. Grand also for this American who is hearing all sorts of politically inspired stories about the NHS, to hear yours.

Glad you've made your decision, Woozle, and I hope all goes well. Blessings on you "adventure."

As for the gin -- for medicinal purposes only -- effective pain management! (Tell them you consulted a medical ethicist on this one!) Shocked Laughing
