Cowart's Common Room
M & S Credit Card

M & S are keen to promote their card, nothing wrong with that. However I don't think selling it at the payment desk is a good idea. Whilst waiting to pay, the entire queue was party to a customer's personal details- DOB, maiden name, address, how long there etc etc. ID fraud? No it's M&S ID fraud..

Westerwitch's Avatar Not a good practice. Although generally I do like M&S . . . perhaps you should phone their Customer Service and tell them how you feel - they do actually listen, or write to them . . . ber very interested to hear their response if you do decide to do this.

Silverhead's Avatar Same thing happened to me in Debenhams in the middle of their saleEvil or Very Mad
Surely they should have made better provisions to enable potential customers to procure their card without enraging all the buyers in the queue.
Everyone in the queue was annoyed, especially as there were only two checkout assistants.
It just doesn't make good financial sense, or maybe they just don't care.

Camilla's Avatar Oh my goodness Lily, can hardly believe that this is M & S way of doing things.

As WW said, and I agree, get in touch with them and let them know how you feel, let us know what the outcome is dear Lily.
