Cowart's Common Room
Hugged Into Off-lineness

I think it must have been all those hugs. The poor Purple Coo has been hugged into off-lineness this past hour and a half. Poor Rosie and I have been bereft! Emailing each other about the PC lie-in. (The Alderney said sleepily) (Go to the Poetry Forum of you are lost!). Anyway, happy revivification, PC. I can get back to work now.

Arosebyanyothername's Avatar Hallooo! Back in the world of Purple Coo. A quick whizz round now to see what I have missed during the last hour or so.

Westerwitch's Avatar Phew . . . I have a very busy day and won't be able to be around much, but at the same time it kind of feels 'empty' when you know that the Coo isn't there . . . so pleased it is back . . . it was a server problem - which we haven't had for some time.

Westerwitch's Avatar NB If ever the Coo goes down then go to the Blog Announcements page and I will put up any news of what is going on there.

Withy Brook's Avatar Whew - thank goodness it wasn't my computer! funny thing happened last night - the coo went back to summer mode, but is back in snow now, I am glad to see.

Fennie's Avatar I can't see any snow. And the sunflowers are still out. And why, I have always wondered, are there not other coos on the hills. Why only the one coo? If the hills were alive to the sound of cooing, little dots of purple over the green sward, we should look like Wimbledon!

Withy Brook's Avatar Something spooky going on here, Fennie. I still have the snow back!

Westerwitch's Avatar You need to refresh your browser Fennie - it is remembering what it saw before rather than loading what is there now.

Preseli Mags's Avatar Fennie you've made me very happy with 'The Alderney said sleepily' and revivification - what a splendid word.

AND I refreshed my browser and it snowed on the Coo! Joy.

Fennie's Avatar I refreshed my browser to. Sigh! If only someone would refresh me! Turn me off and then on again and I would come out all snowy. Or rather warm and sunny. Can I see Purple Skiers on the slopes? Blossom? Skiing down the mountain dodging the coos. Suppose we added a Ptarmigan or two? Then we could change their plumage every winter. In fact WW's outfit ought to change when you think of it. Winter draws on and all that. Yes, PM Revivification. That's what I need. I have written an artile but otherwise it has been a thin day.
