Cowart's Common Room
Stir Up Sunday

I have posted a bit of history and nonsense on the origins of the Christmas Pudding, and the tradition of Stir Up Sunday, which falls on this Sunday coming, the 22nd November on the Christmas Forum.

There's still time to get the ingredients!

Westerwitch's Avatar . . .sigh . . . brilliant thank you - will go and drool over it, but no-one but me eats Xmas pudding in this house - so we don't have any . . .

Frances's Avatar Love this custom Zoe, even though I have never actually participated. It's one of those things that I've read in books, magazines ... even on line, and think, that's lovely.

Now... over to the Forum. xo

Can we stir up various forms of chaos and havoc as well?

(I know; only the Bear would ask that.)

Good for you, Silverhead. But will that be pudding or chaos?

Blackbird's Avatar I think that I'll stir up trouble.

I'm intrigued by Christmas pudding but this year is so hectic that I think that I'll have to put off my experiments until next year. Thanks for sharing some history- I find it fascinating.
