Fennie's Avatar Quite wonderful....but cold. The only reason why you can't see the highest mountain in Scotland is because the second highest mountain is in the way.

Westerwitch's Avatar It was cold here last night - but not so cold now - obviously colder up on the hill . . . and yes a few hills and trees between us and the highest mountain in Scotland . . . not to mention Glen Coe.

Boudicca23's Avatar And, weirdly, here in Budapest, in Central Europe, on the Hungarian plain, in the middle of November, the temperature is in the low 60s (about 17 degrees C) - I've brought far too many warm clothes and had to buy a t-shirt! Madness, I tell ya!

Frances's Avatar WW, that is a glorious view. Is this about the time that you all usually first see the mountains covered in snow?

Here in New York it's still heavy sweater and scarf weather. Haven't had to get out the coat or slip on gloves yet.

Blackbird's Avatar What a lovely sight from your garden. I love snow too but prefer that it stays in the mountains.

Tiggywinkle's Avatar What a great picture, and the fact that you can see it from your home. Can't believe you have snow already. The Aussies would love to have snow, but we rarely get any.
