Withy Brook's Avatar Here is a close-up of the gold cornus and the purple ?, both of which will lose their leaves shortly but have purple stems and red and yellow ones. There is a bird feeding tray hidden by the table, so lots of activity. Also peanuts and black sunflowers hang on the clothes line, to the right. The Viburnum bodnantense is in flower and will continue till the spring. Lots to look at and please us.

Lovely spot, but hardly winter.

If it were winter, there would be three feet of snow.

Withy Brook's Avatar Mid-autumn, Bear. But we will look at it without some of the leaves all winter except for odd times when there is snow. we don't get it like you do.

Westerwitch's Avatar What a lovely idea - how about putting this up in the Gardening section 'A view from my window' not everyone will have a garden view, but many will and be brilliant to see what others see.
