Cowart's Common Room
A BIT EARLY FOR OWLS

Yes, I know it's only about half past ten in Britannia, but I imagine it should be getting kind of darkish. Dark enough for owls. Over on the west side of the pond it's still sunny, and will be for about an hour and a half. Then dark and cold (going down to -11C, or well below freezing).

If any owls do show, to be cared for by Camilla and Frances, just let 'em know that "Bear was here!"

Thank you.

Silverhead's Avatar Hi Rob Bear!! what are you doing around and about at this time? You always seem to be here when most of us are down for the night. I've been touring the forum and leaving my comments. Maybe you'll still be around for the rest of the evening.

Re:
Frances's Avatar Hello Bear!

Sorry to have missed you on the early owl shift.

What wild weather has been happening here today. Very, veyr strong wind, a bit of rain. I went to a usually crowded farmers' greenmarket today to find some apples, and instead found just a scattering of farmer, trying to preserve the architectural integrity of their stands.

Picture elaborate sorts of giant umbrellas, under wind siege, threatening to turn inside out and then to take to the sky.

I did find the apples and then ducked back underground to the subway for a quick ride home.
