Cowart's Common Room
Another silent walk

I have just come back from another windless walk - shorter this time. It is the calm before the storm, I fear. It has given me the idea for a blog at some point when I can do a walk to the lime-kilns with my camera. Now I have said I am going to do it, I shall have to - so prone to have good ideas and then do nothing Rolling Eyes

Now I am back I thought I would ask - does anyone know the name of the art of engraving on wood - 10 letters and almost certainly x-l-g-a-h-
I have googled it but cannot find it. It is an old DT Weekend General Knowledge crossword and I have done all the rest with the aid of google - mainly Wikapedia. A terrible time-waster but maybe I will remember something!
