Cowart's Common Room

Much difficulty getting access to the internet tonight, phew.... seems to be alright now.

Remember Remember the Fifth of November.! of course, I do remember those little sparklers when I was just a nipper, and remember seeing each year by Baker Street Station in London all those years ago a homemade Guy with children asking.... penny for the guy.

November 5th 1985 was also the year that we first moved to Norfolk after leaving the bright lights city of London, how can that 24 years have passed soo quickly.!

Just going to take a tour, see you later owly's.

If you can't sleep and there are others on line then have a natter here.

Night Night, & Sweet Dreams.

What is the weather like where you are? lovely autumn day here yesterday, but lots of fallen leaves on the lawns, some windfalls of apples too, some the birds will feast on.

Camilla's Avatar This little owl is off to bed, night night and sweet dreams, sorry to have missed Frances who I believe may be already sleeping on that down pillow as I type after another very long day at the shop.

Just in case the dear Bear is resting his poorly back, I will wind up Tiddles gently, give her half-half, and put the Clock outside for his dose of Moonglow, all done.!

Night Night Owls, see you tomorrow.

Frances's Avatar Nope, Camilla, not sleeping at all!

Just in from work and about to sit down to tonight's pasta ... can it be after 10 pm? Yes, it can.

Thanks for that Vanessa Bell painting, I knew it was one of hers straightaway.

Frances's Avatar Hoping that Camilla has entered the land of nod.

I'll still be around for a while, if any other owls ...looking towards the Pacific, might be circling round.

Puffin's Avatar Hi Frances,
Came by awhile ago and no one was here-Than all of a sudden you were here.
My you do work long hours.
We have started getting the Boston paper for the winter.
It is much like The New York Time's New England printing.
We stopped it,because they leave so many things out for here'that would be of interest to us.
The Time's that is.
I hope Camilla is getting some well earned rest too.
She is such a great lady and dear friend to us all.
I am trying to sleep a little more too.I never just drop off.
I Keep missing everyone here of late.
So I will say only-sweet dreams to you all-so great to have
had company on the perch again.

P.S. I like to recheck for news I have missed in the a.m.

Bear reporting in, belatedly. No surprise in that.

What of Tiddles and the clock? Hmmmm . . . OK. Those are in hand. Does that make me a handy-Bear? Hmmmm, . . . again.

Sadie and I walk four times today, but that didn't keep her from getting into some of my papers this evening, including her vet records. She's getting bigger, and is able to reach more things. Sigh. She's sound asleep on the floor, looking so innocent. Innocent my foot, she is!

Today as we walked by the sand bars in the river (just south of our house) -- enough geese to comfortably fill a football field/pitch. And who didn't have his camera? Temperature was up a bit, and sitting in the sun in the river (which has fairly high banks and so is a bit sheltered) must have been marvelous. Hence so many geese.

Eye surgery tentatively scheduled for early December. Will hopefully make things at Skool more visible. (On the other hand, something at Skool may never be more visible -- like Headmistress chain saw.)

Bear heading to bed. Have spent the day dealing with challenges in two ethics committees. It was so bad I don't even want to start. Sheesh!

Frances's Avatar Sweet dreams to you, Puffin.

Like you, I also often check next morning to see what might have happened while I slept.

Yes! Camilla is a great lady!

Crazy long day for me today, because our shop hosted an evening net-working get together of aspiring female entrepreneurs. We hope that all those aspiring entrepreneurs will find success and come back to shop with us over and over.

I should be closing my eyes now, but of course am still quite awake.

All the same, will log off now, try to wind down, and look forward to seeing you all tomorrow. xo

(Best wishes to dear Bear, if he's still resisting hibernation and wants to climb to the perch. xo)

Frances's Avatar Late hello to you Bear! All my wishes are sent ... double strength. xo
