Cowart's Common Room
Fantasy Best Friend

Yesterday we chose our Fantasy Family . . . so now who would you choose as your Fantasy Best Friend and why . . . it can be from any walk of life, or as yesterday it can be a character in a film.

How about someone like Captain Jack Sparrow - no point in getting invloved romantically with a character like him - but a best friendship can last a lot longer and think of all the adventures you would have.

Or best friends with say Eddie Izzard . . . he comes across as such a lovely person and when I see him I always feel I want to sit and chat with him.

Or maybe Felicity Kendal either as herself, or from the long ago TV series Solo . . . she is someone I feel you could always sit down (or stand up) and talk about real life with.

So who would you pick as your Fantasy Best Friend.

Re:
Fennie's Avatar After his marvellous warm-hearted programme on plasticine gardens last night I'd say James May.

Re:
Faith's Avatar I enjoyed the plasticene garden but wouldnt choose him for my best friend. I actually can't think of anyway for my fantasy bezzie mate at the moment, it's quite a tricky one.

Re:
Patsy's Avatar Inspired choice Fennie, James May would appeal to my Inner Geek but I think he would be better reserved as Best Friend for my 13 year old Geek in Training.
I need a friend who is intelligent, well-read and keen on current affairs but who won't go all precious discussing trivial female essentials like nail polish or hemlines. I think Kirsty Wark from Newsnight would fit the bill perfectly..and she's Scottish too! Very Happy
