Cowart's Common Room
What a bummer.

I have just spent over 2 hours writing a new topic on Holistic Health, pressed submit, and it disappeared. I can't believe it. I was sure I was logged on, but maybe I timed out. It took so long to do I did think I should be doing these in word, save, copy and paste. Why do we not go with our instincts? I am mad with myself. What a bummer, I could sit down and cry. So, sorry folks, bear with me, and I'll redo it in the next few days. Groan. So get a little note book, because you have work to do. The topic is "A new Look at my body" Poo Who, I'm going to bed, and I just got a tooth out on Friday, and 6 weeks of treatment coming up after Christmas so I am a little misery boots. Tiggywinkle's Avatar See comments in "I can't sleep" Talk about coincidence. I knew it. Things often seem to go wrong on me at the time of A new Moon. Maybe I'm a lunaticRolling Eyes Does anyone else find this? This topic came up a while ago. I'm not really into that sort of thing, but its not the first time it has happened to me. Weird. Think I might mark the dates in my diary.

And things really go crazy in a hospital Emergency Department when there's a full moon. Police will tell you similar stories.

If the moon can move the waters of the ocean around (high tides; low tides) what makes anyone think the moon would not have some effect on our bodies. I mean, REALLY Exclamation Exclamation (At this point, the situation being so obvious, Headmistress would fold arms and tap floor with one foot, before reaching for chain saw to deal with unbelievers.)

Faith's Avatar Tiggy, poor you, how annoying and with toothache too! I ALWAYS save long things - the hassle just isnt worth it otherwise. I so know how you feel - staring in disbelief at the computer, pressing buttons trying to get in backShockedSad

Arosebyanyothername's Avatar You could try clicking the 'back' button on your browser until you get to the page you were working on. This sometimes works for me on my Mac. So frustrating - I feel for you, especially when your time is so precious.

Fennie's Avatar I was just going to say exactly the same as Rosie but she has beaten me to it by five minutes. Yes, the back browser button. Hope you had a good night anyway and slept well eventually.

Tiggywinkle's Avatar Rosie and Fennie, I think I recall this happening to me before, and I doing something like that and it worked, but will never take the chance again. There were lots of facts in this topic, which took a lot of thinking and the thoughts of wracking my brains again is not appealing. I'll wait till the full moon passes, and get back to sorting my sewing machine out to-day. Thanks for the help and kind words.

Westerwitch's Avatar The back arrow should have worked.

Worth highlighting what you have written and copying it - so that if it does vanish then at least you can paste it back . . .

Oh, Tiggy. I always use MSWord for anything of length (not that I ever post anything over a few words Rolling Eyes) as I find it easier to edit and spell check, then I copy and paste it in an effort not to lose it in the odd accident of posting.

I always have problems sleeping under a full moon.
